Brand new (Nov 2022), so it was amazing. Super instagrammable decor with Japanese vibes. Good service, great gym + lap pool, spacious King Room, and excellent breakfast spread. Location is just a 5 min walk from Jesselton Ferry Point, so it is great, for boat trips /diving and also directly facing Sabah Suria mall with good food options and the usual shopping brands (Watsons, Sephora, Cotton On, Levis etc). Fantastic sea views too.

1. Excellent location - right across the road from a large and modern mall and also the Jesselton Pier. 2. Service - everyone we met (Reception, concierge, roof-top bar, dinner restaurant, breakfast restaurant) were super-friendly, genuine and did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. 3. Best buffet breakfast we had in a long time in a buzzy top floor restaurant with amazing views. 4. Outdoor rooftop infinity pool - You must make time to experience this!

Having never stayed at a Hyatt Centric hotel before, we weren’t prepared for the beautiful hotel interiors - the natural wood walls combined with paintings of local wildlife made for a unique experience. The restaurant food was divine and the views of the rainforest from the top floor were picturesque, especially in the tropical rainstorms!

The Hyatt Centric is an outstanding, extremely well designed hotel in KK. We could not fault anything - we booked a sea view room which was clean, air con worked very well, hot water, spacious, comfy bed, white fluffy towels and very clean. The breakfast was exceptional - even for a vegetarian! The dining menu was adequate. The staff were gracious and accommodating. Location was also perfect and across from a shopping mall with a small supermarket.

great location - walked to the jetty to get the boats to TAR and plenty of restaurants in walking distance brand new so everything looks great friendly staff well designed rooms good breakfast good WiFi would definitely stay here again if we were back in KK

From arrival to departure, our stay was perfect !! We loved it so much we extended our stay for 1 night. The staff is amazing , they working very hard to provide excellent service . I did book the room for my partner's Bday and they even spoilt us with little attention in the room . Thank you so much for making our stay special. And the bed ... Omg so comfy ! The pool is incredible, we were lucky enough to have it for ourselves few times . The hotel is brand new , the gym is well equipped and the bar is beautiful. Breakfast amazing . Sea view and forest view are both nice .

A new hotel. Modern style decor and awesome room facilities. Our room has a balcony with a good view. The pool is really chill. The water is slightly salty and it feels amazing to swim while watching the sunset. I’ll definitely come back again.

Friendly and service centered staff. The hotel is new, clean and everything works. Breakfast served in the hotel has a good variety. It is a very good location with a shopping mall opposite the hotel and many eateries nearby and within walking distance. It is easy to go anywhere not within walking distance with Grab private hire. It is also not far from the Kota Kinabalu international airport.

Staff - cheerful, polite, patient and very helpful (had general questions about the area and they were efficiently dealt with). Location - shopping centres opposite the hotel, a range of dining options all around, one of the best supermarkets (Tong Hing carries loads of imported and local products and produce) with on-site café and other useful shops eg pharmacies, souvenir shops, etc, weekend market stalls line one of the streets that’s a few minutes away.
